Successful Installation Night at Ivalda

The Northern District Installation, headed by RWor. Bro. Graham Pitcher, officiated at the Installation Night of Ivanhoe Grammarians Night on Thursday, September 6.
Wor. Bro. Simon Browning was installed for his second consecutive year as Master of Ivanhoe Grammarians Lodge. Master Masons form the nucleus of the team: Bro. Travers Gascoigne (Senior Warden), Bro. Milton Tsaktsiras (Junior Warden), Bro. Lachlan Gould (Senior Deacon) and Bro. Alexander Gould (Junior Deacon).
Other officers of the Lodge include RWor. Bro. Wayne Smith (Chaplain), Wor. Bro. Ian Gould (Treasurer), Bro. Ash Long (Secretary), VWor. Bro. Michael Holloway (Director of Ceremonies), Wor. Bro. Haydn Gregson (Almoner), VWor. Bro. John Cantrill (Organist), RWor. Bro. Geoffrey Davey (Chorimaster), Wor. Bro. Rahim Samat (Inner Guard) and VWor. Bro. Frank Jenkins (Tyler).
A happy ‘Festive Board’ was held afterwards at the Ivalda Masonic Centre, Darebin.

I was sorry not to be able to attend the Ceremony and to meet all the members . Rt W Bro Graham Pitcher an I were very involved with a pilot committee in Gisborne approx 10 yrs ago when we tried to develop a Community hub from the Anglican Church, Gisborne Lodge, Windarring for Disability and the Macedon Ranges Council but the Fed election was held and the finances dried up in favour of the School system. We almost made it and today we still do not have a Community Hub for an never increasing population.
