An honorary member of Ivanhoe Grammarians Lodge, Wor,. Bro. Eric Brown, passed away on July 5, 2018.

Eric had been a resident at a nursing home at Whittlesea for some time. He was visited there by Wor. Bro. Graeme Hawke.

Eric’s links to the Lodge go back to the Headmastership of RWor. Bro. Charles Sligo, who nicknamed Eric as ‘Rent-A-Mason’. for his willingness to step into any role at a moment’s notice.

He was passed on June 1, 1995, and made an Honorary Member of our Lodge on September 7, 1995.

The Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Eric Francis Brown was held in the Yan Yean Chapel, Yan Yean Cemetery, Plenty Rd, Whittlesea on Thursday, July 12.
